Using a mortgage broker should give you confidence that you are getting the best rate since they are searching so many lenders. In my case, I tried to solicit rates directly as well and could not get close to Jonathan’s rate. The other as important thing is working with someone who is efficient and responsive. Jonathan told me what paperwork I needed to put together, what I might need down the road, and it was all very easy. He took a lot of the stress out of buying a home and honestly not sure why anyone would go anywhere else.
